A concept centre devised to offer the highest standards in Physiotherapy/Pilates Based Rehabilitation and Pilates Fitness
PILATES: Developed by Joseph H Pilates in the early part of the last century, Pilates is a system of over 500 exercises aimed at improving strength, flexibility and overall posture. Joseph Pilates accumulated the knowledge to formulate his unique method of rehabilitation and fitness while studying and working in many diverse disciplines such as martial arts and remedial and exercise therapy.
REHABILITATION: The original Pilates exercises are modified to reflect current research in muscle imbalance theory and movement dysfunction. Physiotherapists who have a minimum of five years post graduate experience and an additional post graduate qualification in Pilates Based Rehabilitation develop and administer all rehabilitation programmes on a one-to-one clinician client ratio.
FITNESS: Building on the original Pilates principles, our individually tailored fitness programmes will focus on and develop core strength, flexibility and posture. Classes are run on a one-to-two clinician client ratio (semi-private class) or a one-to-four clinician client ratio (group class).
